Select Pro 4.0 offers several powerful features for color correction :
- When users want to apply local or selective color corrections without the use of a mask, Select Pro 4.0 lets edit up to 6 colors at a time. The strength of the color correction plate per plate may be adjusted through a selectivity range or radius. These capabilities increase dramatically productivity because it becomes useless to build any selection area. More Select Pro 4.0 includes a brush tool to instantly create an area of interest on the image being corrected!
- You apply global color correction on a color calibrated picture through three-rgb- or four -cmyk- look-up tables or curves that can be adjusted interactively. Any number of points can be added up on the curves, and later moved or deleted. Curves can be saved for later re-use...Whatever the picture size, preview your effect with real CMYK and accurate display.
- A tone manipulation feature lets you create your own color equations. This mode implements a 'Transcol' method, for very fast tone manipulation. Thanks to the WYSIWYG preview, it is very easy to create gorgeous duotones, tritones, 4Color Black&White pictures in perfect balance.
- Using a concept borrowed from traditional photography, Select Pro 4.0 splits an image into sections containing different color corrections and colors. Select Pro 4.0 lets you output a wide variety of color variation Test Proofs to any printer.
